Jakarta, puncak-media.com Indonesia – Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) telah memperbarui daftar obat sirup atau obat sediaan cair di Indonesia yang dinyatakan aman dan bebas etilen glikol (EG) dan dietilen glikol (DEG) yang melebihi ambang batas.
“Hasil verifikasi periode 15 hingga 27 Desember 2022, terdapat tambahan 176 produk yang telah memenuhi ketentuan. Dengan demikian, BPOM menyatakan 508 produk sirup obat dari 49 Industri Farmasi (IF) telah memenuhi ketentuan, dan aman digunakan sepanjang sesuai aturan pakai,” tulis BPOM dikutip dari laman resminya, Rabu (18/1/2023).
BPOM menyebutkan bahwa pihaknya akan terus melakukan verifikasi hasil pengujian bahan baku obat (BBO) dan/atau sirup obat berdasarkan pemenuhan sejumlah kriteria, yaitu kualifikasi pemasok, pengujian bahan baku setiap kedatangan dan setiap wadah, metode pengujian yang mengikuti standar atau farmakope terkini.

Laman akan menampilkan “Daftar Sirup Obat yang Aman Digunakan Sepanjang Sesuai Aturan Pakai” dan tanggal daftar tersebut diperbarui

Pada kolom “Search”, ketik nama produk obat sirup yang ingin dipastikan status keamanan mereknya.
Produk yang dinyatakan aman oleh BPOM akan ditampilkan rincian produknya berupa nama, bentuk sediaan, kemasan, pemilik dan nomor izin edar, serta kategori dengan keterangan “Hasil Verifikasi Pengujian tahap I-IV” pada laman tersebut. Sebaliknya, bila tidak menemukan merek atau produk yang dicari maka obat sirup tersebut belum dinyatakan aman oleh BPOM.
